Kara's Statement

As fitness professionals, we want to help educate everyone on how they can include fitness into their everyday lives rather than it being just a quick fix. We aim to teach you how to create long-lasting, healthy habits and to enjoy fitness as a fundamental part of your life!

It feels like health and fitness has become more focused on aesthetics than health with almost everything expected instantly. We all want results right away and if we don’t see them it can be discouraging, so we focus on feeling good and enjoying the process from start to finish every time.

Motivation will only last for so long on its own, it needs a boost. So if you enjoy your exercise it will be something you actively look forward to, making it much easier to maintain.

We understand everyone is different from different goals, fitness levels and abilities through to what you enjoy, what allows you to see those results. This is why we emphasise the personal aspect of your training with us – fitness is not a one size fits all solution.

Alex's Statement

Our mission here at gym-22 is to change how you view your fitness, and its benefits so you can see there is a healthier, more sustainable way to maintain a physically healthy lifestyle.

By providing you with an experience that allows you to educate yourself and understand your body and its fitness needs, we want you to realise that the way you look is a by product of doing some fun activities.

Your workout should be exciting and interesting bringing out your inner child and stopping you from clock-watching. It should be putting a smile on your face when you achieve something you thought you couldn’t all whilst you are working hard and improving your physical and mental health.

We put a huge emphasis on establishing your fitness foundation by finding your weak areas and building up from that. Our goal is not only to improve your strength, physical fitness, and confidence but to also keep your movement and joints healthy for many many years.
